The certain magnitude of the weapon is enough to turn anything to dust.
Oxygen destroyer alert. Possible hint for future installements? I dont know wha to say but, "The certain magnitude of my excitement is enough to turn anything into dust.)
Good grief.

^If he does then oh well, but what is your real reason why you want him to die?

In my opinion it makes it to me feel like the Orignal movie even more, with mirror differents.
other than that I want another movie where he dies

^But the original and burning godzilla were the only two to die until GMK came along but his heart was still beating which is odd.
But it does seem that the best movies have him dying in them.

And that's what I want a really good movie

I don't whant uneceasary sequels like in the showa films, we migth get gabra or headorah in a sequel
Catzilla hedorah wasnt a bad villain, he was iconic. And Flyers having Godzilal die doesnt make a good movie at all.
Good grief.
Again it's my opinion and I really don't wanna augre with you gorilla

Toho most likely won't let Godzilla die. When they give their instructions to other companies to use the character rights to Godzilla, one of the main requirements they give is that Godzilla must not die, the other most common one being that his origin must have something to do with nuclear testing. These were also requirements Toho gave Tristar before the 1998 film. I don't know how they danced around the "Godzilla must not die" part though, but I'm sure that was just one quality of 1998 that displeased Toho.

And as for the people who get mad on this forum, Godzilla isnt a real thing, you need to know that, there is no need to get angry about science fiction created monsters. Granted, yes, i like Godzilla, but if you want to get angry about any of it, take it up with the people who came up with Godzilla and made the movies, not your own bretheren.
^Easy there spinosaurus rex, we know that, no need to try to continue the whole debate on what transpired here.

Oh im very sorry, i meant for that comment to be on that other one, i just forgot i was on another discussion, ive done that a lot lately, you can see on the JW forums ;)
Well, I wouldn't want Godzilla to die (but I thought he did at the end of the new film). I do trust that the Legendary series won't spawn crappy films like a remake of Son of Godzilla or Godzilla's Revenge.

I think there is nothing wrong with Son of Godzilla. I have no idea why people always list it and Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster as some of the worst films in the series. I think they're actually some of the better movies in the series. Godzilla's Revenge is definitely one of the worst though.

Son of godzilla nd seamonster are OK not bad but not good, the ebirah and kamacuras adn kumnga marionnets are actually preety cool
I don't want him to die, I believe he deserves to go out with dignity after the putrid treatment Sony/Tri-Star gave "him", and you don't have to kill him off to close the lid on any potential sequels, you could simply have him ride off into the sunset with the Oppenheimer speech in the background to close out the series.
Besides, the 2nd movie will have Godzilla's archnemesis, King Ghidorah in it, so who could they have in the 3rd movie to "up" the stakes from him? That would obviously be either MechaGodzilla and/or Destroyah. If it's Destroyah, duh, of course they're not gonna have him die to him again, if he is the end monster in the 3rd movie (and I would certainly love for him to be, he would also look totally freakin' awesome in expensive CGI), it only makes sense that they have him beat Destroyah this time and live through it all, and Edwards and Tull, being the die-hard G fans that they are, will force each other's hand to ensure Big G gets his payback I'm sure as well as give G-fans what they wanna see after the last movie they were in by Toho ripped their heart out.
MechaGodzilla, I could see it happen against him (even though he's died at his hands before, too), but short of Destroyah, I don't know who they could have in the 4th movie if they decide to go that far. We'd have to go from Ghidorah, MG and/or Destroyah to friggin' Gabara and Co., ugh.
Maybe have him sacrifise himself, or go beserk due to him absorving to many radiaton, destroyng everithing beffore ding of a melt down
I think that last option is a cop out of the burning Godzilla...But, i think they'll kill him off eventually, or just have him dissapear, the franchise has its fair share of horrific sequels...yes, i'm looking at you showa -_-
