Well, today i do this on this forum, which i think is a first...do note some of the 'facts' are speculation on my part, so don't go too crazy on the hate ;) with that being said, let's begin..
M.u.t.o (male)
Wingspan: unknown(estimated at 50 meters)
Weight: 56,000 tons
Height: 91 meters
Coloration: black and red, with the color being various shades depending on size, gender and maturity of the animal.
A creature that feeds solely on radiation, M.u.t.o are drawn to the urban sprawl of major cities. The nuclear power plants are what draw them, as well as the various nuclear weapons countries keep on the standby. The males are enormous in their own right, but females are a great deal larger, reaching 104 meters in height and weigh in the ball park of 76,000 tons. They first emerged in 2014, but some dubious sounds echoing from the ocean sediments bare a resemblance to vocalizations of both the male and female m.u.t.o.

Coloration: Dull red/ brown
Making its debut to the world in 1956, the creature known as "rodan" first hatched from an egg, and as soon as it hatched it began to feed on a swarm of insects called meganulon, which had been stirred up by a group of unsuspecting miners. Maturity occurs at a rapid rate for this creature, and the one individual known reached it in a span of a few days. As it reached maturity, large 'horns' located at the back of the head, and a series of spikes sprouted from its chest.
Setting: South Padre island, Texas. The year is 2015
Let them fight..
The sun starts to set as a male m.u.t.o. clambers out of the ocean. He had not absorbed any decent amounts of radiation for over four months now, and his body was noe yearning for it. He takes massive strides out from the beach, easily reaching the urban little town of South padre island in two strides. He paid no attention to the humans as they scattered in a frenzied manner.
Within half an hour, he had reached the Comanche point power plant, and he attacked it with great fervor. The high pitched alarm wails erupted in his ear canals, but he didn't really pay much attention to it. Nor did he heed the spraying of machine gun fire and the army artillary that was blasted at him thoughtlessly. It did little but annoy the giant beast.
Little did the M.u.t.o. know, something big was coming his way, something big with wings.
Rodan had emerged from his slumber, Alarmed by the scent of another large bodied monster in the area, he took off from his cave in search of the threat.
It didn't take him long, for he had seen the massive sihlouette of the m.u.t.o. from miles away. He climbed higher into the air, intent on a stealth bombing-esque ambush on the creature.
The m.u.t.o had just finished satiating himself with the abundant nuclear suprise when out the corner of his eye, he saw something truly gargantuan coming from the sky, making a beeline directly for him.
Rodan was upon the m.u.to. in seconds, using his momentum he sent the massive ancient parasite tumbling to the ground. The impact caused tremors comparable to a 7 on the ricter scale, and Rodan ascended once more to repeat the attack.
What he saw next completely caught him off guard - the m.u.t.o had joined him in the air.
It was hot on his heels, and before rodan knew it the M.u.t.o had latched onto one of his legs, almost biting completely through the skinny appendage of the pterosaur-like creature.
The attack sent both aerial monsters into a downward spiral, and in mere seconds both had fallen to the earth. The mu.t.o was the first to recover, and lunged at the downed Rodan. He bit around the chest regio, opening a large wound that spurted blood like an opened flood gate.
Rodan shrieked in agony, kicking out he connected with the M.u.to.s' underbelly, forcing the ancient parasite to loose its grip. Rodan got to his feet shakily, and shrieked once more at his adversary. He spread his wings, attempting to make himself appear larger to the equally enormous beast in front of him.
Not backing down, the m.u.t.o charged like an angry bull. His triangular boxy headed collided with rodans chest spikes, opening up a large wound on the top of the skull. The force sent both animals tumbling once more to the earth, the impacts shaking the quaint little texas town to its core.
Before rodan could react, the Male m.u.t.o latched its jaws around the vunerable neck of the giant pterosaurian creature. Rodan shrieked and struggled, but it was all in vain. Slowly but surely, the ancient squeezed the air out of the giant aerial monster.
Winner...m.u.t.o
Authors note: Even though rodan was taller, The m.u.t.o had thicker hide and was overall more massive, boasting a 26,000 ton weight advantage.
Odds: 55-45 in favor of the m.u.t.o

These battle type thigns have been done many times before including high flyers tag team fantasy tournament, Monster tournament, and many others so this is not a new idea. actually the mutos don't have a chance against rodan ho on his own has proven to be almost as strong as godzilla

Showa Rodan was what they used for Millenium rodan, Correct? also, i didn't use anybodys io - i wrote these out myself using the Godzilla wiki and other sources.

MemberBaragonAug-15-2014 7:19 PMRodan took multipe missile without taking any damage, he was knocked out of the air by a spiked ball flying at him and then collided with the ground and had 2 monsters thrown on him and still survived. Tke male muto took almost no frontal attacks, if you pay attention the reason he did so well was because godzilla couldn't keep up with him or get a good hold of him. The one time he did get hit it was onto a building and impaled. Rodan's been put through buildings multiple times in his career with no lasting damage.

I really liked this battle, even though us Godzilla Fanboys know that Rodan is better, I guess in our opinions, Rodan's stronger in many ways, I loved the story, I think Male M.U.T.O could still be the winner of this battle for a few reasons, the Male did put up a brutal fight against godzilla, Rodan is around the size of godzilla I believe. Male M.U.T.O did a better job then the female, oh the new godzilla is the biggest godzilla in the franchise right, so wouldn't it be harder for the Male to fight something so big for his size? Well I am sorry if I'm wrong, I'm only thirteen, I haven't seen every single godzilla movie yet, so I can understand if I'm wrong, but ya I really like the fight between Rodan and the Male M.U.T.O

All Godzilla monsters have taken shells from the millitary and been unphased! The muto barely did anything except unleash the female! The male was killed by a Godzilla tail swipe, and if the king had gotten any direct strikes he would have killed him. Rodan however withstanded Heisei Godzillas atomic breath and Showas! Rodan survived MechaGodzilla 2 and even if your using millenium, Final wars Rodan survived getting hit by a rolling Anguirus going super fast, Before beign crushed by Ceaser and the others, All of those attacks would have murdered the Male muto! Your arguement is that of one who wants to believe one is stronger then the other (I myself have done these before but i dont do them anymore) I am more mature then this but for Revege purposes i should call you....A Kid.

An animal with such a weight advantage would most certainly kill the smaller one.
Millenium era Rodan wasn't substaintially larger then the muto heighwise, though it does boast a larger wingspan. However, that brings nothing to a fight.

MemberAnguirusAug-15-2014 11:02 PMGood fight, was rooting for Rodan though. Also, there is not a snowballs chance on hell that the Male MUTO is 91 meters tall. Thats the females height. Why? When Graham first saw the Femuto she said ," its nearly 300 ft tall, much larger than the other one". So if Femuto is nearly 300 ft tall and is "much larger" than the Nale MUTO, then the male MUTO is much smaller. I would say 55 meters tall, since he seemed to be half Godzillas size

MemberBaragonAug-16-2014 2:17 AMSince this is just for entertainment I can't really comment on who wins as that's up to the creator, but for future installments I would recommend looking more into the monsters abilities and characteristics moreso than just size and weight. True if you just look at both those categories it would seem the MUTO has the upper hand, but since there's a fact that Rodan can fly at super sonic speeds while the MUTO barely beat Godzilla to San Fransisco. There's also the questioning of durability I brought up earlier with the MUTO never having to take heavy fire due to him being able to EMP and take out any heavy artillery, while Rodan even in Final wars was fighting a hover craft that shot missiles and lasers as well as having a combined weight of 110,000 tons thrown on top of him. I feel you are looking at theses fights the same way you would a fight on the JW forum, and unfortunately Godzilla monsters aren't really governed by real world rules. Most have some crazy ability or strength that logically they would never be able to do but has to be taken into account when making these sort of threads.

And also stall Godzilla so the Female could stand a chance and once again save the Female when Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath and prepares to finish her. Also the fight cut twice from the male fighting Goji and we also see the male to frontal attacks at the halo jump scene and when the gates close, we also never truly saw how much the male beat Godzilla at the airport.
@Carnosaur. Loved the fight and the story to it, the only thing I can comment on is that you forgot Rodans Breath attack however I do believe to Male would just dodge it anyway but overall I liked it and would like to see more.

Im not going to engage in combat over something stupid but atleast understand Rodan would incinerate the male muto.
