I remember that I stopped the watched whenever Godzilla was not directly on screen, so during scenes where he was present but not actually in front of my eyes, I stopped the watch which is why the time is so short.
Are you ready?
10:28 +/- 3 seconds.
There you have it!
Godzilla's total time on screen, for better or worse, is only 10:30 give or take two to three seconds. Again, I stopped the watch whenever he was not directly on the screen. During scenes where you know he's there such as the final fight where the camera cut away, I stopped the watch.
So what do you think? Out of 123 minutes, Godzilla's on screen for only ten and a half of them.
Personally, I'm not disappointed, but I do kind of wish that it had been extended just a smidge. However, I'm certain they'll rectify this in the next film given how many new Toho monsters will make an appearance. If he's fighting all of them (or even just two), he'll be on screen for quite a while now that the big reveal and all the damn teasing is done.
