If the strongest ordinary MUTO is a household hammer, then Gigan is a sledgehammer. The original MUTO, he is stronger than the strongest MUTO and faster than the fastest, he is a force to be reckoned with. His main goal is to kill Godzilla who killed his mate and eggs several years back, the only Alpha MUTO left, he had nothing to lose so decided to

challengeLegendaryGoji years later but was beaten. He decided to hibernate in a volcano for many years to heal from his major wounds. It wasnt until 250 million years later he awoke, ready to attack Godzilla, now stronger than ever, Gigan gave Godzilla more trouble this time but was ultimately torn to shreds. Seeing the viciousness Godzilla displayed during this fight, the UN decides to revive Gigan. Gigan's limbs are collected and preserved while metal parts are being made to replace what couldnt be recovered. Gigan is revived as a cyborg, stronger and faster than ever, however his brain was left inside his head, although thought to be under control by placing a microchip, the microchip proved faulty and Gigan still had his own free will, now using his new power to track down Godzilla and kill him and exact revenge once and for all!!!!
