King Of The Monsters
MemberMothra LarvaeJul-16-2014 9:29 AMSo we all know that Godzilla will have a trilogy under its belt with Gareth Edwards helming both of them, and he has already stated for a sequel he would like to do a monster island setting. But what will the third one be about? I know yor probably rolling your eyes and saying its going to be a long time, but its something different we can disscuss.
My idea is probably revolving around Godzilla being A public argument if he should stay or be destroyed with a new tech, the oxegen destroyer. But it is a split argument and the goverment cant decide. Through the film we a new character or doctor Serizawa who is studying Godzilla and he noticed he is disstressed, through he film we see large earthquakes being caused around the world and suddenly coming to a stop at Vegas. Godzilla surfaces in a city (Possibly Tokyo) and makes a journey towards Vegas were he throws a shit-fit and starts destroyng the city. This is so we can gave a glance at the force of nauture side of Goji as we never saw it too much in 2014. The army attack him and the goverment are forced to try and use the Oxygen Destroyer. But he escapes into the deep were there is too much presure for the military to follow. And then from Vegas surfaces the centipede monster we was teased and he has layed its eggs underneath the city, were its offspring has already hatched, this part will allow the humans to be able to do something usefully as the babies can be brought down by the military and most of vegas is rked. The centipede then moves to Chernobyl for the final fight were Godzilla Emerges and has the final fight were he obviously wins. Most of the people understand now why he destroyed Vegas and the goverment allow him to live as he swims back to the sea to once again defend us and himself......

MemberGiganJul-16-2014 9:43 AMYour idea makes no sense. Godzilla wouldnt randomly come to surface and start destroying stuff? Even if the worm was there he would wait for it to rise up, This is the problem with some people, You dont understand that the legendary Godzilla is not gonna be a city destroyer. And i cant believe how many times i have read a story where they have Godzilla destroy the millitary. All Godzilla wants dead is the Monsters, Not the buildings or anything else. You have to put that into effect when your writing scripts.

MemberAnguirusJul-16-2014 9:53 AMIts a fairly good idea But I dont think G14 would destroy a city even if a monster was hiding. BTW, I think Gareth will run out of ideas by the time the script is written, becuase we would have covered everything

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-16-2014 9:56 AMI actually had a similar idea, but instead of the centipede-monster, small crustacean-esque creatures (which turn out to be Destoroyah's young who escaped without it knowing) appeared all over asian countries and Godzilla would hunt them down without the government knowing. When Destoroyah arrives, they use her as a basis for the Oxygen Destroyer to use on Godzilla. Of course there would be more to that, but that's the basic ide. That I had.
