MemberAnguirusJun-11-2014 9:24 PMSorry if this topic has been used. So I am on Level 43 (San Francisco) in Smash3, and I was wondering if they would make a Godzilla 2014 game for consoles. It would sorta be like missions where you do almost everything Godzilla does in the movie and you can also have a free roam mode, where you start in the water and can travel to most if not all parts of the world and cause havoc, with Godzilla, MUTOs and maybe even some classic monsters. So it would sort of be a mix of Godzilla Generations and Godzilla: Unleashed. Even after you finish the story say other MUTOs are wreaking havoc and you have to stop them. If you dont stop the the monsters from wreaking havoc, it is kinda like a Hero or Menace system, but that is just my imagination running wild

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-11-2014 10:08 PMUnfortunately for all of us the likelihood of them making a console game for Godzilla 2014 is absolute zero. The movie has been an overall success, but not enough to warrant a full fledged console game.
For as much as fans love the old games like Godzilla: Unleashed, Godzilla: Save the Earth, Godzilla: Destroy All Monster Meelee, I personally think they sucked.
They were the same old arcade style fighter game, just with Godzilla monsters. It was a joke really. I bought one or two hoping that there'd be something interesting but there wasn't. I guess they just aren't my game style because arcades and 1x1 fighters are generally boring to me to begin with.
I like the free roam idea in a world where Godzilla can just wander. Get into fights with other wandering monsters from time to time and depending on his proximity to a populated city the military presence and aggression will increase or decrease in proportion to what you do and how close or how far away you move. It'd be amazing.
But, it's not going to happen.
And I'm really bummed about it too because an open world game featuring Godzilla, even if there's no story to be had, would be amazing on consoles. PS4 top of the line 1080p graphics with a high class physics engine where you can choose to play as Godzilla and just roam the world swimming the oceans or wandering the landscape fighting monsters, stomping cities, spanking the military, and blasting boss monsters in the face with your atomic breath?
I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
But again, sadly, it's not going to happen.

MemberTitanosaurusJun-12-2014 5:06 AMI would like to see an Xbox one and 360 (I have only the 360) Godzilla game. Also does anyone know how to get past Level 44 (San Francisco) in Godzilla Smash3?

MemberGiganJun-12-2014 8:24 AMProbably after the Legendary series is over they will make some games.
Good grief.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-12-2014 9:46 AMI would like to see a game like that, GODZILLA316, but I'd say there isn't enough demand. What you described seems to be a cross for Godzilla: Unleased (for the fighting), Epic Mickey (the hero or villian concept), and Sid Meyer's Pirates! (it's a free roam game, where you can choose to follow the plot or not, side with certain countries, make them enemies, do whatever basically). But as TW_G-FAN2014 has said, it probably won't happen.

MemberAnguirusJun-14-2014 1:59 AMTo everyone, the game will be for PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and most of the recent Wii and Wii U. I was playing the Amazing Spiderman 2 the other day and that is where is got the Hero or Menace-like system.

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-14-2014 3:54 AMThere really needs to be a Godzilla game for Xbox 360/Xbox One and Ps3/Ps4. It would be so awesome and I really like your idea.
