For those who havent seen the wondercon footage, then you wouldnt understand what im talking about, but do you guys know how the music "The Wave" got really off from how it was transitioned in the wondercon version?  Well, I didnt like the way they transitioned it in the final version for the movie, it just sounded like it was the unfinished version even though it wasnt.

Dont you guys agree that the way they put the music in the wondercon footage was even much better?? And also they even cut out that scene where Godzilla was about to surface, you think that was the reason they had to edit the music differently? Why did they even cut that scene? Looked too fake? Hmmm

I really can't answer your questions but I'm willing to bet the full version will be present in some directors cut or what have you.

How far can we push nature before it pushes back?

Exactly, I thought the music set up in the final version was OK, but just like you the wondercone footage had a much better music setting.

I also dont think there was really any reason to get rid of the restaurant scene at all.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I was slightly disappointed they changed the "order" of the music and got rid of the restruant scene. Oh well. :)

This is a super weird thing to say, but I also liked the way the kid on the train screamed in the wondercon footage over the movie version. It sounded like a more natural terrified sound. I wouldn't even call this nitpick, that's just me being super weird :p

I must say I liked the opening of the song in the movie version more. When Godzilla first appears out of the water there's this godly type voice in background that you can hear and it's just epic. Aside from that I think the wondercon music worked a little better.

Yeah I know right. I really liked the wondercon music and when they played different music in the actual movie, I was like....this isn't what I originally heard. What the hell? Lol.

well i loved that scene , yeah it wasnt like the wonder - con , but hey Edwards said that the music wasnt completely done and maybe ... just maybe they changed it because they obviously knew that the footage was already leaked and decided to give it a little twist , JUST MAYBE... besides that , G14 soundtrack has slowly become one of my favorite soundtracks ( once i started to hear it over and over and over i couldnt stop lol) . so far my favorites are : Back to the ocean , The wave , Back to Janjira , The Q Zone , The Airport Attack , Godzilla , Inside The Mines and Muto Hatch.
