If you designed G2014 what would you remove and what would you add?

i would keep the body

change the neck and feet and make his scouts pointier

i would remove the gills, change his posture, make his spines a little more classic looking, and make his roar a little more imposing like like the 84 one. thays about it.

I would probably make his neck thinner, and make the spines a bit more simmiliar to the Final Wars design. Thats it.

i love the spines but i would like if Godzilla would use the atomic Breath farther away

i would make the feet bigger ,make the head bigger ,have the spines completly light up 

have the real atomic breath , change the roar , to more like godzilla 2003

and also have the over all look of godzilla 2003

@KAIJUSROCK So, basically, you would have it not be an original design at all. Also, G2014 did have the "real" atomic breath. Did you miss the scenes where he fries the female MUTO?

I would change almost nothing about his design, overall, it was pretty much perfect for a "realistic" Godzilla. However, I would take away the gills, because they show that the design team apparently didn't think through every aspect of his biology very well. It seems that their thought process was "Well, Godzilla can breathe underwater, real animals need gills to breathe underwater, therefore, a realistic Godzilla must need gills!" But, if they had bothered to do any research on why most organisms need oxygen in the first place, they would have realized that a creature that gets its energy from radiation should be anaerobic (I'm to lazy to explain why, just look up "cellular respiration"), which means that the Toho Godzillas are more realistic in that regard.

EDIT because I can't actually edit my post: And how is his roar not the iconic Godzilla roar? It is just as similar to the original as any of the other variations over the years.

I would make the spines slightly larger and more like the Millennium Godzilla's (2002-2004). I would keep the roar but also add in the 1954 roar or the 2004 roar or both. I would make his eyes a little bigger, they seemed small to me. That's it really.

...I still don't get how that makes it not the classic Godzilla roar. It's still a "SKREEONK," it still has the same overall sound, it's just another variation of it, of which there have been many over the years. Maybe it's a variation that you don't like, but that doesn't make it not Godzilla's roar.

Also, something I forgot in my original post: I would make his tail longer. Sure, it's already pretty long, but the longer it is, the better!

I'd take off the gills. As said before, there's no actual reason for him to have them, since there are scientific explanations for why he wouldn't need them. Unless they're willing to explain how they initially evolved in the first place, but once the species started to solely rely on radiation, they evolved new bodily processes that pretty much outsourced the need for oxygen in the first place, and they became a vestigial feature, I wouldn't put gills on. Oh, and the toes could be a bit bigger.

Hmm, the face looks cool although I would like to make the nose the same as the old ones, and give it a pretty GMK'ish Gojira look. I would like to make the Scutes a little longer. And that's just it!

I would keep everything the same, except have him stand up straighter. Slouching will give you a hunch back. 

@Linkzilla, I agree with Kaijusrock, for me the roar was perfect, except I want the ONK in SKREEONK. Like, it's hard to explain, and Kaijusrock did it the best I could, like, it doesn't seem as vicious in the new one (the ONK I mean). Like I give this beautiful speech, and end on a solid point while slamming my hand down. That's the original. The new one is like me giving a great, powerful, moving speech, but at the end I'm like "I hope that was okay.... Maybe you could even like it a little...." Like, it's just not as much of a punch for me.

I that's really the reason I feel it's not the "classic" roar. Just the new ONK in the SKREEEONK

I feel that changing any aspects of the design would make it terrible.

KAIJUJIRA - The only aspect I'd have changed would be Godzilla's nose. I much preferred a bear or dog-like muzzle as compared to the more reptillian one eveidenced by the 2014 iteration. Other than that, I felt the design was wonderful! :)
