MemberGodzillaMay-25-2014 11:02 PMMUTOMADNESS45 - I've now seen the film twice, and I loved every minute! I certainly enjoyed the movie most of all during the second viewing; I knew generally what to expect and so could devote some of my attention to notticing details I'd missed during the first go. All in all, it was fantastic! I had a marvelous experience! :)

MemberBaragonMay-26-2014 2:21 AMI've seen the movie twice once in 3d second time in 2d. I honestly wasn't impressed with the 3d and wouldn't recommend wasting the extra movie for anyone wondering what version they want to see.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 3:20 AMI've seen it twice in 2D and once in the IMAX. I was surprised how many people were at the first two showings and the reception was very positive. I saw it at IMAX in Ann Arbor Mi on Thursday and the crowd was a little thin. Also, I just don't see the upcharge worth what you get. The theaters in Toledo aren't that much smaller and I believe 3D is just a gimick.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 4:57 AMI saw it 4 times already and I almost saw it for a 5th time yesterdsay! The 1st time I liked it a little, thought it was kinda cheesy, but however I saw it in RPX. The sound was amazing and the picture was nice. The 2nd time I saw it in 3d with my god kids and we didn't get good seats, but they were excited so they made it a lot of fun and I'll admit that I liked it better than the first time even though we got terrible seats. The 3rd time I saw it in imax 3d and I was impressed with the picture and the sound!!! It almost sounded like the rpx version. The 4th time I saw it in imax 3d again and liked it better again!!! I think the imax picture was the clearest even though it was in 3d, the rpx had the best sound hands down though!!! Everytime I saw it I was super hyped to see big G on the screen!!!

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 5:00 AMJust saw it in standard 3d, going to see it in IMAX next week if it is still out. Not many people were at the theater I was, and the group of friends I was going to see it with bailed on me :/. Still, I was really pleased with the movie.
3d was okay, my issue with every 3d movie is that after a while, I get used to the effect. I want to see IMAX because of the clear picture and awesome surround sound. The 3d theater I went didn't really use surround for Godzilla, everything seemed to come from the front, and the roar wasn't as spine-chilling as I hoped because of that.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 7:04 AMI drove 2 hours yesterday to see it in IMAX and HOLY CRAP. I was actually scared at points beecause of how detailed and loud the movie was. Godzillas roar is absolutely spectacular with IMAX.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 1:15 PMHaven't left the theater that impacted since Jurassic Park (and I LOVED LOTR/Hobbit/Nolans Batman trilogy). Instant classic. Seen it 3 times, will watch it again before the end of the week.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2014 1:26 PMSaw it once in 3D imax and the second time regular matinee. Imax sound and size of screen was great but the 3d wasn't particularly worth it. Edwards sold me on it in that video at first but after seeing the film I've concluded that 3d is only worth it if they shot it in 3d. 2d popped out just doesn't look that great. I was personally just as satisfied watching it a 2d matinee at half the price.
