MemberMothra LarvaeMay-17-2014 6:47 PMHello! I noticed there is plenty of scenes that were cut out. Here are some:

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-17-2014 7:20 PMThe second pic was kind of in the movie. They show those buildings and the doors closing, but instead it's Godzilla fighting the flying MUTO.

Lord Vader
MemberGodzillaMay-17-2014 7:46 PMI just noticed that. Those would have been interesting scenes to see.

Here is another picture that was not in the film:

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-17-2014 9:01 PMYeah I know right. I was expecting to see all those scenes in the film but instead they were cut out and some were alternate shots. Like when the door closes on Godzilla in the trailer, in the movie it was the same shot but with him and the MUTO fighting. Great film :)

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-18-2014 1:58 AM@Kurochan_24 - That dead multi-armed creature you saw was just a concept. It was never intended to be in the film.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-18-2014 4:07 AMI appreciated that they were missing. Notice that each missing piece that was shown in the trailers, told you a different view about what was happening in the movie...when you watch the movie, it wasn't needed and usually way cooler. I like this new trend, so that way I'm not seeing the whole movie in the trailer (thanks amazing spiderman 2, I don't know why I paid for that movie when literally ive seen every big moment in the trailer.), or that i like how the trailers itself is like a prologue to the movie to help me better understand it when I'm watching the movie itself..I.E...in the trailer you have the halo speech about family by the admiral vs in the movie is where ford explains the family element that drives him to jump on the train with the bomb. It's letting you know those elements exist but you understand it better watching the actual movie vs hearing in on the trailer. It was nice not to see those scenes because if I saw them, my mind would've been changed to "I remember this in the trailer, let's see how my theories went" Instead of staying in the moment... Like when ford "spoiler warning" talked about his family in San Fran and why he needed to be on the train... Way more impactful than the speech in the trailer by the admiral. Make sense? seen it twice so far but I've #beenDrinking tonight.

Community ExecutiveMemberMothra LarvaeMay-18-2014 7:47 AMGentlemen, you are being sent in by a HALO jump. Now I realize not all of you have had hands on experience and frankly, none of us have ever faced a situation quite like this before. But I would not be asking any one of you to take this leap. if I did not have complete faith in your ability to succeed____ Your courage will never be more needed than it is today--
The world will spin well past our last breath, but I will always care about you
