It looks like something coming out of the sea clearly and is centipede like. I think he 2012 Comic Con concept monster actually made it into the movie... and we see it in this TV spot. Link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXOqJ7jW0j4. Skip to 0:45 it looks like a trail to the sea that the Comic Con monster would have made with all the lines in the trail from its feet.
