AdminSpaceGodzillaMar-19-2013 5:07 PMToday we were sent an exclusive first look of the Godzilla 2014 set and one of the images featured a burned down Military Helicopter. But this Copter looks a little dated to me, like the Copters we see in 70s - 80s movies. So, my question today is, could the team in BC have shot a "Flashback" scene for Godzilla 2014?
Here the image which was sent to us:

Do you think it looks like an older Helicopter? Could this be used in a flashback scene? Could the entire film of Godzilla 2014 be set in an earlier time in our history dating back 20 - 30 years? Let us know what you think by replying below!

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-21-2013 6:59 PMMaybe, maybe not.I know that the military is mostly using Blackhawk helicopters in their arsenal, but it dosen't necessarially mean that they aren't using Hueys anymore.Hard to say.
You have your fear which may become reality, and there\\\'s Godzilla, which is reality.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-21-2013 7:36 PMOk I just talked to my brother and he said yes some branches of the military still uses Hueys, the helicopter seen above, and that they may be using Hueys in this film since the Blackhawk has top secret electronic components inside it and that the U.S. military is kind of picky as to who can use them in their movies.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-22-2013 12:09 AMThis is definitely not a flashback scene. Honestly I have no idea where you got that idea from. The US Marine Corps still operate Huey Helicopters today. In fact they ordered 70 brand new ones with Bell Helicopter in 2010. They 've only received 31 of the 70 they ordered to date so far. Incidentally the US Marine Corps Hueys that are in service today are painted a dull grey colour. Just like the burned film prop used on set.
