I just saw the image below at http://ldn-rdnt.deviantart.com/art/King-Kong-vs-Godzilla-II-442155551 , it's of the 2005 King Kong meeting the 2014 American Godzilla. Now this is the rematch/remake of the Godzilla--vs--Kong battle... only I think this one is going to be VERY short.

For those that are curious, here's a screenshot I found that shows the "tree" incident back in 1962 vs the Japanese Gojira...

To be honest I'd love to see a Godzilla V. King Kong rematch
Both monsters are highly popular and it'll leave a good imprint with todays world.

A Ludicrous thought to a realistic discussion? Hmm! Well since neither of them actually exist, how realistic are we talking? This seems to be more of an opinionated discussion, and my opinion is that Kong would whoop his ass "IF" they were in the same height and weight division. That's all, just an opinion.

I just watched this movie today (rounding out and finalizing that I have finally watched all of the currently released films), and I must say that I LOVED it.

Being both a huge Godzilla fan, and an equally huge King Kong fan, I will say that I was torn horribly between who to root for! The way it ended, I personally can't see why the implied that Kong won. From my perspective, it would seem like that, having fallen into the ocean where Godzilla has an advantage, Kong just KO'd Godzilla and ran [swam]. 'Cause, y'know, water+electricity+reptiles= ouch.

A remake, I'm not honestly too hot about as, again, I'd be torn on who to root for, and because it just might not work like it did back then.

But hey, my opinions generally aren't significant enough to anything, so if one does crop up, whoever makes it can shut up and take my money.

Deviation is not shameful. Conforming is.
