Something possibly interesting I saw at the store

I stopped in at Meijer today-- for those of you who don't know what Meijers is, its a large store similar to walmart, just higher in quality. Its mostly found in the midwest-- anyway I headed back to the toy section to check out my usual stops.

There I discovered blank spots on the shelves and lower shelves, as well as pegs that said "Godzilla" on the tags. Now the ones on the lower shelves were of Godzilla destruction packs and Godzilla deluxe playsets. The dates were for the 14th of this month-- and the spots very much bare. The peg spots said "Godzilla Chibis".

So what this means...? I don't know. Feel free to disregard it if I'm wrong, but when I worked in Retail, the general idea is that the dates on the tags could mean one of two things... but I don't know how Meijer does their stocking so I'm afraid to make assumptions and make an ass out of myself-- but here goes anyway-- my assumption is that some kind of Godzilla toys will be going up on the 14th of this month, or they'll be replacing those spots with other toys. If it is Godzilla toys, I doubt they'll be related to the new movie, however there is always the chance that it COULD be movie related toys. You never know? I'll check back on the 14th. 

Anyway-- what I'm saying is that maybe, here on the 14th there might be some Godzilla toys put on the shelves at my local Meijer... and no I did not get picture evidence, I don't carry a phone with me everywhere I go. I guess I'm just bringing this up because-- maybe, out there somewhere, someone else has already noticed such a thing at their local retailers.

So everyone keep their eye's peeled, I might be back up at meijer soon and try to get some pictures with my camera-- until then, happy hunting.
