Godzilla 2014 Video Game Tie-In?

Im just putting this out there. Howabout a Godzilla or Kaiju defense mode on Battlefield 3?

they should make a game i don't on the movie but some kind of game that will make save the earth and Unleashed look weak and add all monster that Godzilla has face over the years and maby make a godzilla character a DLC and it could be the 2014 godzilla with the monsters that he will probably face in the new movie.

I think they should treat the next Godzilla game (or kaiju..whatever) like a DBZ game. Huuge roster, classic campaign, story mode campaign from the movies, finishing moves, legit tag team, and skin packs for kicks. And invite 3rd parties like Gamera and Zilla from 1998 or King Kong.

Or howabout this? A Kaiju defense force mode in Battlefield 4?

I'd be happy to have any Godzilla game on the PS3 . I'd even be happy with a remake of Generations (dreamcast)but with you as the army trying to stop him .

How about a role playing game sort of like GTA or Skyrim where you can explore, choose what missions you'd like to do, create your own character(so to speak), make decisions, choose things like alliances(Army, Alien, Earth-Defenders, Mutants, and so on..) and have an overall feeling of freedom in the game?

But yes, joegernaut, I agree any brand new godzilla game that fits my console at all would be very welcome. I just think they should mix it up next time if they do create a new one.

And yeah DLC packages for it would be pretty legit. Maybe even online gameplay?

there probobly would if the movie makes enough money. it would probobly be made by atari. i would like a godzilla free roamer where you could go around the city and destroy stuff until you want to do a mission like that incredible hulk game.

I have made small games before, so I know what im talking about. I think they need to make a game were you see the back of your monster and you free rom in a huge map of all earth. you choose what you want to do, were you want to go, what city you want to destroy. you can find other monsters on the map that you may then battle. a small military, but there is metal monsters. there is a story line of were you need to go, but you don't have to go there. friends can join your world if they are already your friend and you can only have 3 friends with you, or the game would be to easy.

what about a monster maker and a sim city like map editer

i think there should be a godzilla free roam game.where you could go anywhere godzilla went in the movies.and you could choose when to do your missions.and when you do missions unlock new godzillas or evolve threw godzilla movies.but also have good graphics and gameplay. also you should get to choose 3rd or first person.nothing should be in it that wasn't in a godzilla movie.also there should be a free roam multiplayer like gta choosing to face or leave alone your opponents.choosing any monster of course.

I think they should make one that is based on the movies over the years. i think that they should make a game that should have all the monsters and cities that were attacked by the monsters. they make a mode that you can free roam all over the world and when you free roam you can encounter random monsters or the army. they should make it a 3rd-person. They should have a mode in the game that is based on each movie and when you complete them you get monsters or other unlocks (concept or artwork) and have a mode that is based on survival meaning you have to fight monsters every round when you progress the monsters are harder to kill or more than one plus have boss waves :D. what do you think everyone.

A bit of information that should serve useful: Simon Strange, the creator of the previous Pipeworks Godzilla trilogy, said he was unable to get rights to Godzilla for his kick starter Colossal Kaiju Combat because another company currently own the rights. Now, here are a few details on what I would like to see in the new game: 1. I'd love to see a game done in a style similar to War of the Monsters, though using next gen technology and larger monsters. Perhaps instead of climbing and jumping on buildings, you could stampede through them or push them over onto other kaiju? The weapons play in this would probably be closer to what was seen in Pacific Rim. There would also be a larger focus on grappling. I'd love to be able to throw other kaiju across the city, as well as perform ground n' pound punches or just tumble through buildings with them. 2. I wouldn't want this game to be directly based on the movie, but definitely inspired by it. Think Arkham Asylum or War for Cybertron. The new 2014 design would probably be the main Godzilla of the game, though other designs would have to be their own character as Toho does not allow skins. The other kaiju in the game would have to use their movie designs as Toho became very strict about kaiju redesigns after GINO. 2.

They should make a "Jaws: Unleashed", "Open World" styled game where you get to roam around the world as the new godzilla. Fighting monsters in story quests and also just be able to go anywhere and destroy anything you want. I mentioned jaws: unleashed because obviously godzilla swims and that could be a cool part of the game. It would also give you more freedom and make the game never ending.

i can't help but notice how a lot of these ideas are the same not a complaint mind you just noticing. I'd like to see another in the vein of SAVE THE EARTH and UNLEASHED. one on one monster mash ups tag teams and free for all's with a gigantic cast of kaiju heck i don't care if you make some up. a story mode that tells of why the kaiju a re moving around like they are some sort of final boss and minigames. then you could have a Scenario mode where you play out all the battles of a given movie. a kaiju defense mode sounds awesome.

Hell, it can even be in black and white to be authentic. Underwater missions would be awesome too and you unlock different physical monster features, like different spine for Godzilla or wings for King Ghidorah which would affect the abilities of each monster, and powers in single and multiplayer.
